Turning Movement Counts: The purpose of the Intersection Turning Movement Counts is to summarize the counts of vehicle movements through an intersection during certain time periods.
Queues Length Surveys: Used to measure traffic volumes, providing evidence of congestion and delays. They are carried out for each lane of each junction arm. The data can be provided either by number of vehicles or in vehicle lengths or class.
Origin-Destination Surveys: Origin-Destination Movement surveys can produce live and historical reporting about where a journey starts, the route it takes and the finishing point.
Bicycle Counts: Bi cycle counts can be carried out manually by enumerators and/or using automatic counts from video cameras.
